Welcome to North Shore Chiropractic
The North Shore's newest healthcare addition.
We are an up-and-coming Chiropractic clinic providing pain relief, preventative care, and overall wellbeing to our community.
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic care is a form of healthcare that focuses on treatment of the musculoskeletal system through diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of many disorders. Chiropractors provide non-invasive one-on-one care to improve function and relieve pain in your spine, joints, muscles and nervous system. Diagnosis is achieved by reviewing your medical history and physical examination to determine the source of your pain for musculoskeletal conditions, neurological conditions, and chronic systemic conditions. This form of alternative therapy uses manual joint manipulations, soft tissue work, and instrument assisted techniques to relieve pain and restore function.
You do not need to have back pain to see a chiropractor. Clinicians work with individuals such as athletes or pregnant women, who are looking to improve posture or flexibility, or prevent injury in the future, not necessarily treat an acute pain! Check out our services page to see what we treat.
Chiropractors often expand their toolbox by providing rehab exercises and lifestyle advice to help speed up recovery time and prevent the pain from reoccurring. Chiropractors keep current on the most evidence based advances in the field to ensure your treatment will always be most efficient.

What to expect...
Initial assessment
45min
Your first visit will consist of a thorough review of your medical history and many questions pertaining to your pain or reason for seeking chiropractic care. We will then go through a physical exam which consists of posture analysis, functional tests, and neurological testing to determine the source of the pain. You may then begin treatment at the end of your first visit unless further diagnostic imaging or referral are needed.
Treatment
15min
Your subsequent visits will be shorter, and consist of a brief reassessment followed by a mixture of manual therapy and lifestyle advice. This can consist of spinal manipulative therapy, massage, rehab exercises, and self management strategies.
